Where can I buy a poodle skirt that is not from a Halloween store?

I’m dressing as a girl from the 50’s and I need to get a poodle skirt (and some shirt) for it. I don’t want to go to a Halloween store because I don’t like the quality of the skirts there. Where can I buy a nice one or variation of one?

When I was in Elementary school every year we had a sock hop dance and my grandma used to take me to the fabric store and let me pick out a color I wanted then she’d sow on a poodle which come already made! Its super easy to make your own and if you need help look here!

You can try ebay for a good skirt. I also love going to the antique market, once i found an old REAL poodle skirt. You can try looking at your local antique store/market. If you have none nearby you should consider looking on ebay you could be amazed what you find there. Another place you could consider looking is on kijiji. Hope i helped. You could also make your own, just buy a super puffy skirt and look for a poodle template online if you find a white or black fabric (even from old unwanted clothes) you could cut it out by looking at the template and then sew it on yourself.
