REPUBLICANS, should kids be allowed to wear Halloween costumes to school ?

Hello ladies and gents. It is almost that time. Halloween has a lot to do with politics. The government does not want some schools to allow children access to Halloween costumes. Some school districts think it is a distraction from learning. And their are kids who feel that they are being excluded for whatever reason. But anyway……
Totalitarianism at its best. Please keep the government out of our lives. Yes, I am Liberal.
But this is going to faaaaar !
RAYNE- Yes, I know. Thats why I said that I am a Liberal. Duh.

  • Abraham Lincoln says:

I don’t remember that happening when I was a kid in the early 60’s. There was some acknowledgment, of decorations and candy and some other things. I guess it would be OK, safety of lose garments and such should be addressed.

I was in a one room school house before city school, there wasn’t much that happened an the country school

  • ?Aubrey? says:

I always wanted do dress up as a kid and go to school but was not allowed because the super internment said it was a distraction.:(

  • jeremy says:

School shouldn’t be a federal thing at all so they have no say.

  • Passion for Fitness aka Fitnessadventures2112 says:

Of course I think they should ! How can you say it’s a Republican issue ???

  • Jim R says:

Well since it’s the School districts that want to ban it, and the Districts are run by Government Union Officials, You should look there.

  • World In Peril says:

No it is a waste of tax payer money when in fact school should not be a place of fun or entertainment. They are there to learn! Halloween or any activity that is considered fun and a distraction is a liberal ploy.

Only work and no play or stay home.

  • Wednesday says:

Fine, Democrats will compromise with you guys, let your little boys cross dress or be drag queens at school from here on out.

  • Reason Enforcer says:

Sure. You say some school districts…why do you think these are Republicans? It’s been my experience that most school districts are run by liberals but from your additional details I see no evidence that its Republicans fault.

  • bob35983 says:

Here examples another one of those "school rants" who would yet still recoil in horror at the idea of getting gov’t totally out of your childrens lives.

Your children belong to you. Why do you accept gov’t warehousing as the answer to education?

  • Socrates says:

I don’t have a problem with it. I don’t think a whole lot of Republicans would either.

  • Rayne says:

You do realize that it’s only Democrats that are barring children from participating in Halloween festivities at school, don’t you?

  • ? says:

When I was in school, 99.9% of the other kids and teachers were so grotesque and morbodily obese, I thought every day was Halloween!
