Moms, do you love Halloween costumes too?

I bought my daughter the most adorable unicorn/ pegasus costume but there are so many I want her to wear! I wish I could buy 5 costumes for Halloween just for fun! I plan on buying her a bunch of princess, ballerina, fairy costumes for her to dress in just for fun. 🙂 I wish my mom would have done that for me!

YES!!!! I totally love Halloween costumes! My daughter was born October 22nd, and I made her a halloween costume in September. When she was born, my mom came out – and her, myself, my son (who was 2), and my baby girl all went as bees! She was a tiny baby bee, with a stinger and all! It was SO cute!!!! We even took her trick-or-treating!

This year, I’m dressing my 3-year-old son up as Peter Pan, and will be making my daughter Tinkerbell! It’s SO much fun, and totally hard to stick to one costume!!!!! Every time I go out I’m like "Maybe she could be a princess too!!!! :oD "

But I love being able to do couples in some way while my kids are young – I know at some point they are going to be like "Really mom? Stop matching us."

    Lol.

I feel the same way as you! I adore dressing others up LOL. I also wish my parents had been more into it when I was younger. I recently got my daughter a pizza halloween costume I’m just itching to put on her. It sounds strange, but it’s adorable! 🙂

  • Im awesome & that pisses you off says:

you know, its funny. growing up i always hated Halloween. Neverl iked dressing up, never liked trick or treating.

but now that im a mom, i think its fun. ive had my sons costume since late august.

although i think its fun to dress my son up, i dont dress up, and dont get me started on the like 18 year olds that go trick or treating in regular clothes!

i actually do not like halloween. no particular reason, really. however, i did get my daughter (who will be just a few days shy of 5 months on halloween) an orange onesie with a pumpkin face. she already has a pumpkin top hat, so i am just going to put that on her as well. i couldn’t justify spending more than $3 (the cost of the onesie) on something she will wear for 1 evening. she will be the most adorable pumpkin ever, though! 🙂

I love Halloween! And it is even more fun now that I have a LO to dress up too. This year her and I are going to be matching Leopards. Mama Leopard and Baby Leopard. I love dressing up. When I go to the Costume store Katelyn and I wrap the Boas aroud us and wear the big ole glasses.
