I wish you had explained more about your restaurant. You didn’t mention bar business, so I assume this is a family restaurant. Halloween is a Wed this year, so its a slow night. The best promotions for slow nights for a family restaurants are fund raisers for the schools. You’ll give 20% of the tabs to the school in your area, and you’ll have balloon animals, games and a special menu between 4P-6P. (Early because little kids trick-or-treat earlier.) If is it too late to work something out with the school, try other kid organizations: 4-H, Scouts, etc. These are always looking for fundraisers, and families will go out to dinner easily to help out. You’ll be donating money but it would be a slow night anyhow so you will come out ahead.

Halloween is about evil, death mysticism and often depicts disgusting images… not very appetizing to me.

  • Lee-Lee NOT Leh-Leh ! dumbass. says:

DECORATIONS DECORATIONS DECORATIONS ! And have a special discount on something that’s really popular ! Make Flyers and make sure people see ! Waiters should also mention the holiday to customers

Free Candie bags for the Kiddos!!
    Promote Safety
get a Guy in a Dracula suit maybe a mummy at brief intervals maybe twice and hour

Cut a whole in a few boxes big enough for an arm to go through and put a bowl of brains ( spaghetti noodles), eyeballs( maybe olives)

Make it fun and promote safety… oh yeah and Health!

If it’s a family restaurant, start with activites for the kids like coloring contests. Set up an inflatable monster or something outside. You could talk to your cooks and have special appetizers, or even a special menu. Offer a discount for people in costume. You could have a "mummies day" where mothers get a 5% discount. Just some ideas
