I make a red punch with Hawaiian Punch and 7 Up.

Take a few latex hospital hand gloves and fill with water and secure with a rubber band. Pop it in the freezer for a few hours. Before you serve the punch cut off the glove and put the icy hand in the punch.

i make mine by using apple cider and club soda. put in some nutmeg, and a splash of cranbury juice. heat it up, and serve. the neighborhood kids love it! for the adults, add a couple of shots of vodka.

Halloween Witches Brew…3 ingredients: pineapple juice, orange sherbet, and orange soda.

My mom has a lot of recipes for this one. Check em’ out:
If you like punch with drinks such as 7-Up or Sprite, go for the first.
If you prefer punch with a very spooky effect, go for the second.
If you want a sweet, refreshing punch, go for the third.
If you like a fruity punch, go for the fourth.

    Zombie Punch
    2 cups 7-Up or Sprite
    2 cups lime soda
    4 cups ginger ale
    1 gallon lime sherbet, softened
Place ingredients in punch bowl and stir until mixed. You can also mix it using a stick blender.

    Bloody Vampire Punch
1 quart or litre cranberry juice
    1 litre 7-Up or Sprite
1 pkg frozen strawberries in syrup, thawed
    grenadine (pomegranate syrup)
Place strawberries in punch bowl. Add cranberry juice. Stir. Pour in 7-Up or Sprite. Pour in grenadine. Do not stir. The grenadine looks like blood!

    Witch’s Brew
1 quart or litre grape juice (like Welch’s Grape Juice)
1 quart or litre orange juice
    1 litre ginger ale
    icy hand
    decorative items if desired
Mix grape juice and orange juice in punch bowl. Pour in the ginger ale. Add icy hand (see below for directions) and/or Halloween decorations. Serve.

    Hot Apple Cider
2 quarts or litres apple juice
    1 cup orange juice
    1/2 cup lemon juice
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1-2 cinnamon sticks
1 tbsp whole cloves in spice bag
Heat apple juice almost to boiling. Add spice bag and cinnamon sticks. Simmer 5-10 minutes. Add orange juice, lemon juice and brown sugar. Heat. Serve in a Halloween punch bowl. Makes approximately 20 – 4 oz servings.

You could probably add more stuff to your punch like frozen grapes, dry ice, gummy worms, and more. 🙂

  • Lucja B. says:

    Gummy Worm Punch
    4 cups unsweetened apple juice
    4 cups orange juice
    2/3 cup lemonade concentrate
    2 cups water
    20 gummy worms
    4 1/3 cups lemon-lime soda, chilled

In a punch bowl, combine the apple juice, orange juice and lemonade concentrate. Pour water and 1 cup juice mixture into a 5-cup ring mold; add gummy worms. Freeze until solid. Meanwhile, refrigerate juice mixture until chilled.
Just before serving, add soda to juice mixture. Unmold ice ring by wrapping the bottom of the mold in a damp hot dishcloth; invert onto a baking sheet. Place worm side up in punch bowl.
    Party Punch: Bubbling Witches Brew
1 bottle (64 ounce size) grape juice
2 bottles (2-liter size) lemon-lime soda or ginger ale
    ***Fun floaters***
    frozen grapes (eyeballs)
    ice cubes

Pour grape juice and soda into bowl or cauldron at party time. Add dry ice when ready to serve.

Ladle quickly into serving cups, but do not put dry ice into individual cups. If the punch is left to fog too long the carbonation will dissipate; also, remember to add more soda or juice if the mixture gets too cold and starts to freeze.

Here’s a ghoulishly creepy way to carbonate your drink with those fizzy bubbles that you find in soda — yes, carbon dioxide from dry ice!
    Bleeding Hearts Punch
4 cups strawberries, rinsed and drained
2 cans (12 ounce size) frozen cranberry juice cocktail concentrate, thawed
1 bottle (67.6 ounce size) sparkling water, chilled

Cut a V shape under stem of each strawberry and discard. Cut berries in half lengthwise across the V to form a heart.
Lay berries in a single layer on baking sheets. Freeze until solid, at least 1 hour; flex pan to release frozen fruit.
In a 4 1/2-quart or larger bowl, mix cranberry juice cocktail concentrate with sparkling water. Add frozen berries.
    Red Potion Punch

    1 3/10 liters apple juice
    1 3/10 liters cranberry juice
    1 3/10 liters lemon-lime soda
    miniature marshmallows
    red food coloring

Mix all of the juices together and serve over crushed ice. Dot a couple of miniature marshmallows with a bit of red food coloring, and float on the top of the punch for floating eyeball effect!
    Ghostly Green Brew

    1/2 gallon lime sherbet
    1 bottle (2-liter size) lemon-lime soda, chilled

Allow sherbet to soften for about 1 hour in bottom of punch bowl. Pour ginger ale over and stir until all sherbet is dissolved.
For a fun Halloween treat, serve in a large well-cleaned pumpkin with a great face painted in it!
    Frankenstein’s Punch

3 tubular black licorice Allsorts with white filling
    6 jelly-candy rings
    2 1/2 cups cold gingerale
2 cups cold white grape juice
    2 cups lemonade

Cut the Allsorts in half. Place 1 in each jelly ring. Cut a short slit in each jelly ring.

Mix the punch ingredients in a large serving bowl. Add ice (ice hands can be made by filling surgical rubber gloves with colored ice water – once frozen, remove the gloves). Pour the punch into glasses. Fit the slit of jelly ring over the edge of each glass.
