How much cannabutter per box of brownies/how much for five people?

Me and my friends want to make brownies for Halloween. There’s five of us – so should we drop twenty each? I have four sticks of butter, and the recipe for the cannabutter says to use seven grams per every two sticks of butter. Would that be enough for us? Also, how much butter should we use per box of brownie mix? I’ve never done this, so I need some help. Thanks(:

  • Reesh says:

I make butter using 4 oz leaf 5 cups water and 1 pound butter…bring to the boil then simmer for around 4 hrs, strain into a container and press the leaf out.
Pour 2 cups of boiling water over the leaf before pressing out again. Let the liquid cool and separate and put it in the fridge/freezer.
Once the butter has set you can get rid of the water. The butter will keep in the freezer for around 3 months.

Bear in mind there is no plateau when you eat/drink marijuana as opposed to smoking. A moderate dose for a 73kg/160 pound person is less than 1 teaspoon.

And if you are wanting to mask the taste and smell when cooking with it (cakes, cookies etc) orange extract is a good one to use, as well as strong spices such as ginger, cinnamon, cloves or nutmeg. Chocolate also works to mask the smell/taste.

When I make cookies I use 80 grams of butter in the mix and that usually makes about 30 cookies…if you have never done it before I suggest not going too hard straight up, give yourself an hour or so to feel the effects, remember it’s a different feeling to smoking weed 🙂 Hope this helps!!
