You can make your halloween costume just using household items. Check out http://www.costume-works.com/homemade_halloween_costumes.html for ideas. At first find out what items you have in your closet. Then check out the requirements for the costume that you like. There are also instruction on how to make them. So, it will be easy. It will be easy to make them.

Just be an 80s workout girl because you can just use a sweatshirt, leggings and leggwarmers

Go through your closet, and find clothing articles that could be transformed into a costume.
For example, I went through my drawers and found yellow pajama shorts and a yellow t shirt, then i went out and bought some black lace tights for a couple bucks, some yellow fleece and a yellow beanie, and a pack of face makeup from the dollar store. and with the help of my moms sewing machine, i’m now pikachu. 🙂

This is going to sound stupid and lame…but go to Goodwill. There you’ll find some random clothes you could tear up and experiment on without spending a whole lot of cash on a shirt or pair of pants you’re only going to wear once. Also… if you want fake blood.. mix corn starch and red food coloring. You can even make fake cuts by gluing pieces of toilet paper on your face, then making a hole in the center of it…. there’s a video that teaches you how on youtube, just search zombie make up. Then you’ll need foundation or concealer ( i don’t wear make up so i don’t know what it’s called) that matches your skin color to cover up the toiler paper. You could even use water colors for face paint.. my sister did it once but it eventually started peeling off because of her sweat.

You could always be a nerd, and get the nerd glasses, and the scrunchy. Use your Imagination. You could also spray paint a large cardboard box, or cover it in aluminum foil and go as a robot. You could cut out "buttons" for the robot, from construction paper.
