  • Winston says:

Halloween was started by the celts in the 1500’s the celt’s called theirself pagan’s.
they were at the mercy of the elements and winter was the scariest time of all.
the last day of october and 1st of november always signaed the end of summer and beginning of winter.
this meant it was gonna get real dark and cold don’t send anyone out alone after sunset.
most of the controversy is because the pagans practiced witchcraft , thus having witches as a symbol of halloween leading to the salem with trials, and other witch trial murders.
the celts feared spirits, thats likely where the idea of ghost stories and horror films came from .
mainly because on Halloween the realm between the spirit world and world of the living was said to be real thin, so thin you could cut it with a knife
