A good fake blood recipe for staining arms?

I’m dressing up as a zombie for halloween and i want my arms and hands stained with blood as though i’ve been elbow deep in blood and guts.
The thing is i would like the "blood" to be dry/scabby cause i don’t want it rubbing off on furniture or anything and it’s less of a hastle.
Any good recipes?

  • Trish says:

You could try food coloring or even kool aid, just know that it is a bitch to get off.

use red food coloring or go buy fake blood at at store,
like walmart or target or a halloween store if its open.

  • John says:

try red food dye with corn syrup and some corn starch to make it lumpy or thicker so it stays on. You can always add some black food color or a lot more red to make it look more "dry"
